Wind is the reason we work early. Calm mornings are for spraying and finish coats, afternoons shift to prep, sanding, caulking, or interior work. We use screens on exposed elevations and we do not spray when a breeze can carry material toward a neighbor. Sand gets blown and wiped off surfaces right before coating, since it will otherwise sit in the film forever.

They benefit from one. A yearly rinse to pull salt off the weather side, plus touch ups on railings, door bottoms, and any spot where rust is starting, can push a full repaint out by a couple of years. We are glad to come back on a schedule and knock out the small items before they turn into peeling. It is far cheaper than another full exterior.

We send progress photos, keep the property locked, and coordinate with your caretaker or property manager for access. If the house has been closed up for months we air it out and check for moisture and mildew before starting so we are not sealing a problem in.

We can. A lot of homes out here use stained or clear finished wood on soffits, siding, and garage doors, and those need penetrating stains or marine varnish rather than paint. The coastal versions of those finishes have to be renewed more often than paint, so we will explain the tradeoff before you commit. We do sample boards on your actual wood since every board takes stain differently.

Give us a few weeks if you can, and try to aim for late spring through early fall when we get long dry stretches. Winter exterior work is possible but rain and heavy morning damp will stretch the calendar. Interiors we can usually fit sooner. Either way you get a real date at the estimate rather than a vague promise to squeeze you in.
